Ethernet via coupling TLM

Gigabit Ethernet using existing cables

Up to 950 MBit/s can be transferred via a vehicle coupling or articulation using the Train Line Modem TLM. Existing cross-vehicle cables, such as those in the Zug-NF, IBIS or other 24V control cables are used for this. It is also possible to use coupling contacts that are not in use.

Depending on the model, there is a rail-proof M12D or x-coded connector on the front of the TLM to connect the device to the vehicle network. After installation, there is no need for any further commissioning or configuration work, such as setting the MAC or IP addresses. It is also possible to configure the transmission and receiving output to effectively bridge large and also small distances.
